This Spring, Madison Strom was presented with an award from the Fort Erie Heritage Arts Legacy. She received the 2018 Student Award for excellence in the field of sport. FEFSC is incredibly proud of Madison for her achievement and the recognition she has received. She continually shows good attitude and character, kindness, respect, determination, and an overall strong work ethic both on and off the ice.

In 2018, Coach Cheryl was inducted into the Fort Erie Sports Wall of Fame to recognize the achievements of her figure skating career. She spent many years of her life training and competing, and in 1982 at the age of sixteen won a silver medal for Pairs Four's at Canadians; a national level competition. Despite training out of different clubs across Ontario and travelling all over to compete, she still always represented her home club of Fort Erie.
